FindMyBrick Dataset Licence and Use Terms

Effective date: 10 October 2026

This page describes the terms FindMyBrick applies to its original brick-identification dataset, as presented at FindMyBrick Identification Data.

Original compilation and content

Unless otherwise stated, FindMyBrick reserves its rights in the original selection, arrangement, compilation, descriptions and original structured observations that make up the FindMyBrick identification dataset. These terms do not grant a general licence to copy, republish, redistribute or commercially reproduce that compilation or original content.

If you wish to reproduce substantial parts of the dataset, republish it, or use it in a commercial product or service, please request permission first by contacting enquiries@findmybrick.uk.

Third-party information

The dataset may refer to manufacturer names, product names, dimensions, specifications, factual information and photographs originating from third parties. Those materials are not claimed as exclusively owned by FindMyBrick. Third-party rights and terms continue to apply, and users are responsible for checking permissions where relevant.

Photos submitted by contributors

Photographs submitted by users may be subject to the photographer's or other rights holder's rights and to the separate terms that apply when a photo is submitted. The presence of a photograph or record on FindMyBrick does not, by itself, grant permission to reuse it.

Facts and applicable law

Individual facts, such as dimensions or product codes, may not be protected by copyright in themselves. Rights in compilations, text, photographs, databases and other materials depend on the material and applicable law. Nothing on this page claims ownership of third-party material or overrides rights that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Contact

For permission requests or questions about these terms, contact enquiries@findmybrick.uk.

These terms describe FindMyBrick's intended position for the dataset; they are not legal advice and do not replace any separate terms or contributor agreement.
